Thought for the week from Rev. Jean

Lying in bed for a weak not able to do much of anything is a humbling experience. It makes it perfectly clear that the world can go on without you. My family can manage, worship can happen (thanks Mark), others can step in and do things I might have done, terrorist attacks happen, budgets are tabled—the world goes on as normal without you. But at the same time, except for the terrorists and politicians, I also know that my absence was felt.
